Hacktoberfest Meetup Ajaccio x GoodBarber

The 2026 edition of Hacktoberfest is about open source AI. Instead of counting pull requests, it invites everyone to build with open source tools and open-weight models, and to get local communities together to do it.

In Ajaccio, GoodBarber hosts the meetup at CampusPlex for an after-work evening. At its heart is a talk on open source and open-weight AI: why it matters, and concrete ways to get started, whether that means writing your first skills.md, running an open model locally or building a small agent. Then questions, drinks and time to talk with the people around you.

No conference format, no pitch: just an excuse to get everyone in the same room on a weekday evening, seasoned open source contributors and the merely curious alike.

The talk is in French; the slides and shared resources are in English, so everyone can keep going with the wider Hacktoberfest community afterwards.
